Wild portraits safaris is a locally owned company dedicated to provide Wildlife enthusiasts and photographers alike the best game viewing experience possible We spend up to ten hours with the game each day. This gives us the opportunity to see a large number of species and to follow the unfolding story of wildlife on the plains as it happens.

Our itineraries are only basic guidelines and we prefer tailor making your safari with you to give you the most authentic safari as per your aspirations, at hand is a flexible team, who are dedicated to take every step with you as you plan your East Africa safari

More than a job

Yes our guides are passionate about what they do and they being the vital link, either they make or break a safari, therefore, we cannot gamble on this. Wild Portraits Safari guides are all accredited members of KPSGA (Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association) at silver levels. These are highly qualified guides who will provide you with best experience in the field.
They have had a great deal of experience with photographers and film teams from all over the world and understand what is necessary to ensure a successful trip. (For instance. we offer full day game drives with packed meals such as breakfast and lunch, your guide understands how to position his vehicle in order to provide the best light, very early departures from lodges are second nature to your photographic guide)

Safari Vehicles

Our vehicles are all well maintained and equipped with large pop-up roof hatches, to allow an unobtrusive view /photography from the top as well as from the side windows. We will remove some of the seats to give you more room especially for the photography safaris.
