9 Days  vacation Kenya Adventure Safari Holiday takes you to the best of the parks in Kenya. Meru National park close to the Mount Kenya plays host to the Africa’s iconic animals, the rhinos and elephants. With its 13 rivers cutting through the scenic landscape as they flow from the Nyambene hills giving life to both plants and animals. They drain into Kenya’s longest river, the Tana. With a prolific bird life this park is one of those we would call off the beaten park as it is not as frequently visited. We the travel to Samburu game reserve. This semi arid area acts as a refuge for the wildlife as the river of brown waters, the Ewaso Ng’iro. It divides the buffalo springs and the main Samburu game reserve and it is usually a perfect set up to watch elephants wallow in mud, drink and cross the river. Samburu also has the big cats, cheetahs, lions and leopards as well as the smaller cousins like the caracal. Lined with the only branched palm tree in Africa, the doum trees act as a refuge in the heat of the day and offer shade to the herbivores that call Samburu home. Enjoy the Samburu special five, Somali ostrich, oryx, reticulated giraffe gerenuk and the endangered Grevys zebra. 9 Days Vacation Kenya Safari Holiday then takes us right at the equator. The Olpajeta conservancy is a white and black rhino conservation success story and is one of the best places in East Africa to learn more about them. There is also a chimpanzee sanctuary which is open to visitors. Track lions as well as ride amongst the rhinos. Here you can feed Baraka the blind black rhino or visit the last two remaining Northern white rhino females. We then travel to Kenya’s great rift valley to Lake Naivasha. It is here we break the vehicle monotony and do some out door activities. We can do some horse riding at the sanctuary farm and get up close to wildlife, later take a motored boat ride in search of hippos and bird life. Hells gate National Park at Naivasha gives you the unique opportunity to cycle as you watch giraffes buffaloes elands amongst other wildlife. You can also do walking safaris. We then proceed to the mecca of wildlife, the Masai Mara. This is the best place in Africa to see and learn more about the lion, cheetahs and leopards. The rolling Savannah plains host so many different species of herbivores that keeps these big cats going. July to October the great wildebeest migration comes in from the Serengeti. The Mara river crossings are the highlights as they try to escape the hungry jaws of the lions
