Our Exquisite 12 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari begins starts in Nairobi and heads to the Base of Kenya’s highest Mountain, Mount Kenya. At the Ol Pejeta Conservancy the story of rhino conservation is etched in the landscape. Spanning over 360 square kilometers, Ol Pejeta is a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos, showcasing the dedication to preserving these endangered species. There is also a chimpanzee sanctuary where you can visit and see this magnificent creatures that we share so much DNA with. Itinerary

Day 1 :

Nairobi to Ol pejeta Conservancy

We leave Nairobi early morning and head towards North to olpajeta conservancy. Arrive in time for lunch and head out for the afternoon game drive. This is home to white and black rhinos, a chimpanzee sanctuary and as it is where the Northern hemisphere meets the south you get both the reticulated giraffe and the Masai giraffe, the endangered grevys zebra big cats as well as the African elephant. This is the only conservation area you find the last two northern white rhinos in the world, Fatu and her mother Najin. Sudan the last northern white male rhino also lived here at olpajeta conservancy in 2018 at age 45 years. You can meet the two northern white rhinos here through booing in advance. After the evening game drive, we head back to the lodge / camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 :

Full day Spent at Ol pejeta Conservancy

We take early morning and evening game drives or you tailor make your day with the help of your professional safari guide in order to suit your interest since this is a privately guided safari. Other activities you can undertake at olpajeta conservancy are night game drives, horse riding , lion tracking and also a visit to Morani and getting to feed a black rhino. Visit also the chimpanzee sanctuary and learn more about this creature that we share about 96% DNA with.

Day 3 :

Ol pejeta conservancy to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast we leave olpejeta and head to Nyeri area and get into the Aberdare ranges locally known as Nyandarua ranges meaning the dry hide of a cow. We drive through the different levels of mountain vegetation as we come across animals like the giant forest hog, elephants, hyenas, cape buffalos’ duikers bushbucks and if lucky melanistic serval cat if not the rare melanistic leopard. We make stops for the enchanting landscapes as we ascend the ranges. Magnificent water falls like the chania falls and Kenyas biggest water fall, the karuru falls are to be found here and we get to explore them. The queens cave is not to be by passed as its not only breathtaking but it’s a story unto itself as it played as a hiding spot for Kenya’s freedom fighters the Mau Mau. It was also used by queen Elizabeth for picnic and the magura falls makes it even a more magnificent spot. We later exit the park and drive for approximately 2 hrs to Lake Naivasha for overnight

Day 4 :

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara

After an early breakfast we head out for a boat ride, about one hour in the only fresh water lake in the Kenyan rift valley that is home to hippos and over 400 bird species. Get pied kingfishers in action, the African fish eagle busy looking for the all-important protein source, the fish. Common carp is the most common fish here. After the boat ride we go for a horse ride or nature walk depending on your preference at the crescent island or the sanctuary farm. You can also do a bike ride as you watch wildlife, you will have a guide with you. Later drive to the Masai Mara with lunch on the way and reach in time for the evening game drive. Check in to the lodge/camp for dinner after the game drive

Day 5 :

Full Day at Masai Mara National Reserve

We have a very flexible itinerary and game drives are tailored to your interests with our experienced professional safari guide. Early morning game drive with picnic breakfast gets you higher probabilities of catching the sunrise, animals whilst they are still active. The morning serenity is just not explainable, you just have to experience. Explore more of the spotted Savannah with its diverse landscapes as to capture beautiful animals, with your lenses. The Mara river where river crossings happen in July August September is the main water body snaking its way through this paradise. Hippopotamus and the Nile crocodile call this home and it’s the best place I the reserve to catch a glimpse of them as they warm themselves in the river banks. Other rivers include the talek river and smaller tributaries like sekenani river. The sand river is another picturesque area at the Masai mara and it is right at the border with the endless plains, the Serengeti. All these as our safari guide explains more about nature as it unfolds right in front of you, getting you the best angles for that shot! After a fulfilling adventurous day, you retire back to your strategically located safari camp/lodge for sumptuous dinner and overnight

Day 6 :

Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park

We leave the camp soon after breakfast or with packed breakfast and drive through the southern part of the reserve viewing game as we proceed to the Tanzanian border at Isebania . Proceed to Serengeti national park with packed lunches en route - game is viewed as we proceed to Serengeti Angani Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay

Day 7 :

Full Day exploring the Serengeti National Park

A full day with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the plains, Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Angani Tented Camp Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometres of protected area that borders Kenya’s MasaiMara Game Park It is the Migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. The Wildebeest travel through a variety of parks, reserves and protected areas and through a variety of habitat. Day 8 :

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro crater

Early morning breakfast then leave with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour. You will be taken 2000ft down the crater by a 4wheel drive vehicle, explore the crater before ascending back to the Ngorongoro Forest for dinner and overnight. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is home of Ngorongoro Crater

Day 9 :

Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park. We leave with packed lunch and head for a full day game drive. We explore this wonderful habitat in search of elephants, giraffes, the tree climbing lions hippos, enjoy the flamingoes and other water birds. Lake Manyara is quite picturesque and is a great wildlife photography destination as well. We later return to the camp/ lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10 :

Lake Manyara to Amboseli National Park

We leave after an early morning breakfast and drive to the Kenya Tanzania border. After border formalities we head to Amboseli where we do a game drive as we head to the lodge/ camp

Day 11 :

Full Day exploring the Amboseli National Park

After breakfast we explore the Amboesli National Park. Our itinerary is flexible and we have the option of doing half day game drives and later again in the afternoon after a lunch break. Amboseli National park is the best place to see big herds of elephant. The swamps attract this magnificent creature that find themselves living in this vast semi-arid ecosystem. The dusty plains also play host to cheetahs and lions amongst the big cats. On early morning game drives, you have a higher chance of seeing the rarer mammals like the honey badger, African wildcat, African civet amongst others. Thus, we always recommend our guests leave camp or lodge at the earliest legal times with packed breakfast to catch the morning serenity. The thought of the beautiful African sunrise in the open plains and breakfast in the wild with enchanting views should be motivation enough to make you jump out of bed early. . In Amboseli conservation area we also have the dry lake Amboseli that offers quit good elephant photography opportunities as well as other herbivores that you may come across in the vast dry lake bed. Amboseli also offer unmatched photography opportunities, the golden light spiced with the dust as the animals move into and out of the swamp in the morning and in the evening, which happens to be their daily migration routine. Day 12 :

Amboseli National Park to Nairobi

After breakfast we a game drive as we exit the park and head back to Nairobi. We arrive in Nairobi in the early afternoon where the memorable safari ends
