Itinerary

Your professional safari guide for this safari will meet you at your hotel or residence and after a briefing you will head to the jewel of the North Samburu game reserve. Arrive in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon we head out for our 1st game drive in search of the African elephant, leopards’ lions as well as the African sunset

A tailored game drive to give you the maximum time and opportunity to explore Samburu national reserve, enjoy the elephants wallowing and enjoying the brown waters of the ewaso nyiro river, Reticulated giraffes dot the landscape, the spear horned oryx, the giraffe antelope, the gerenuk, the endangered grevys zebra and the unique Somali ostrich are some of Samburu’s highlights. It is also one of the best places to see the spotted beautiful cat, the leopard, birds of prey, the Somali bee eater beautiful woodpeckers’ cheetahs. The area is named after the beautiful Samburu people who reside in this area and they have co-existed with this amazing wildlife for ages. You can visit a cultural village and get to experience some of Kenya’s diverse culture

We leave Samburu in the morning and head towards North to olpajeta conservancy. Arrive in time for lunch and head out for the afternoon game drive. This is home to white and black rhinos, a chimpanzee sanctuary and as it is where the Northern hemisphere meets the south you get both the reticulated giraffe and the Masai giraffe, the endangered grevys zebra big cats as well as the African elephant. This is the only conservation area you find the last two northern white rhinos in the world, Fatu and her mother Najin. Sudan the last northern white male rhino also lived here at olpajeta conservancy in 2018 at age 45 years. You can meet the two northern white rhinos here through booing in advance. After the evening game drive, we head back to the lodge / camp for dinner and overnight.

We leave Ol pejeta in the morning and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. We arrive in good time for lunch.

We leave the lodge after Breakfast and with a game drive en route exit the park. We head to the great Masai Mara and arrive in time for lunch.

Early morning game drive with picnic breakfast gets you higher probabilities of catching the sunrise, animals whilst they are still active. The morning serenity is just not explainable, you just have to experience. Explore more of the spotted Savannah with its diverse landscapes as to capture beautiful animals, with your lenses. The Mara river where river crossings happen in July August September is the main water body snaking its way through this paradise. Hippopotamus and the Nile crocodile call this home and it’s the best place I the reserve to catch a glimpse of them as they warm themselves in the river banks. Other rivers include the talek river and smaller tributaries like sekenani river. The sand river is another picturesque area at the Masai mara and it is right at the border with the endless plains, the Serengeti. After a fulfilling adventurous day, you retire back to your strategically located safari camp/lodge for sumptuous dinner and overnight

We leave the camp soon after breakfast or with packed breakfast and drive through the southern part of the reserve viewing game as we proceed to the Tanzanian border at Isebania . Proceed to Serengeti national park with packed lunches en route - game is viewed as we proceed to Serengeti Angani Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay

A full day with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the plains, Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Angani Tented Camp Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometres of protected area that borders Kenya’s MasaiMara Game Park It is the Migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. The Wildebeest travel through a variety of parks, reserves and protected areas and through a variety of habitat. Early morning breakfast then leave with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour. You will be taken 2000ft down the crater by a 4wheel drive vehicle, explore the crater before ascending back to the Ngorongoro Forest for dinner and overnight. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. We leave the camp early in the morning and drive to the Border point at the Namanga border where to switch guides and head to Amboseli. We arrive in time for the evening gamedrive which we take as we head to the camp or lodge for overnight.

After breakfast we explore the Amboesli National Park. Our itinerary is flexible and we have the option of doing half day game drives and later again in the afternoon after a lunch break. Amboseli National park is the best place to see big herds of elephant. The swamps attract this magnificent creature that find themselves living in this vast semi-arid ecosystem. The dusty plains also play host to cheetahs and lions amongst the big cats. On early morning game drives, you have a higher chance of seeing the rarer mammals like the honey badger, African wildcat, African civet amongst others. Thus, we always recommend our guests leave camp or lodge at the earliest legal times with packed breakfast to catch the morning serenity. The thought of the beautiful African sunrise in the open plains and breakfast in the wild with enchanting views should be motivation enough to make you jump out of bed early. . In Amboseli conservation area we also have the dry lake Amboseli that offers quit good elephant photography opportunities as well as other herbivores that you may come across in the vast dry lake bed. Amboseli also offer unmatched photography opportunities, the golden light spiced with the dust as the animals move into and out of the swamp in the morning and in the evening, which happens to be their daily migration routine.
